Generosity is a practice which can index our hearts to Christ.

I grew up in a home with four sisters. My dad said he ran a sorority. We certainly had a lot of fun, but a heart-to-heart conversation was never far behind the laughter and silliness!

Have you found contentment in buying just one more thing?  Nope. Of course not.  It’s not how our hearts works.   Contentment is a beautiful word.  And a great idea, right?  But how many of us would admit that perhaps our purchases are made out of discontentment?  I don’t think we need to go too […]

When we look into what Scripture teaches about generosity, it’s easy to ask “So how much do I need to give to in order to be ‘generous’?” I know I’ve asked myself that question.  Jonathan and I’ve muddled over this one a lot.  Not because we have a lack of clarity in our finances and […]

Full confession: I’m not good at receiving gifts. Or compliments.  As much as I love giving gifts and compliments, I feel uncomfortable receiving them.   A few years ago at Christmas Jonathan surprised me with a beautiful piece of jewelry (well at least I think it’s beautiful).  And a year later, I embarrassingly asked if […]

I grew up learning about Christ as early as I can remember. My dad was a Youth Pastor at the time. And my mom a stay-at-home mom who poured lots of intentional training and prayer into parenting. I appreciate them both so much. And am truly grateful to the Lord for their leadership and parenting. […]

Let's learn together

From as early as I can remember, my heart wells up with joyful feelings when I give money away.  But as a mom meeting daily demands, I question what BIG impactful generosity can look like?

On my journey of generosity, searching Scriptures, and deep dives, I've learned generosity starts with stewardship.  You see, it's hard to give something away when we think it's ours.

The core of stewardship - that God OWNS it all - reminds us we are only entrusted with kids, cars, time, etc.  These do not belong to us.

Redefining generosity through a stewardship lens may be the spark you need to create daily and eternal impact   Sign ME up!
